Evergreen Youth at Refuge

Midweek

Evergreen youth meets Tuesday nights from 6:30-8:30pm in the fellowship hall. Youth can look forward to a time of fellowship, a game, and meaningful time in God’s word. After our teaching, we break out into small groups where youth can be real and ask tough questions. Our hope is to exalt Christ and encourage youth to live out their faith.

sundays @ Refuge

We meet Sunday mornings from 9:30-11am at 3595 Sonoma Ave, Santa Rosa CA. You can find Evergreen Youth sitting together on the right side of the sanctuary. The youth will remain in the main service with adults for one reason: to help them develop ownership and witness the body of Christ function as one. We believe that those who have placed their faith in Christ have a gifting that help serve the body (Romans 12:3-8). By involving them in various ministries during the main service, aligned with their individual gifting, we help prepare them for active participation in the life of the church. This takes place on the last Sunday of the month; we call this our Evergreen Takeover.

HOW CAN YOU BE A PARTNER WITH US AND YOUR KIDS?

There are a few things that you can be doing from home that would further our mission. First, most weeks your youth will be sent home with a bible verse to memorize. Ask them about it! Or, memorize it with them! Second, have them show up with a physical copy of the bible. We often ask our youth to read from the bible during our study time. Lastly, ask them to teach you what they learned from our study that night. All these will contribute to good habits that will stick with them into their adult lives.
