The Meal Train Ministry provides a simple and easy way to organize meal giving to those in need within our Church body. You will find on this page links to active meal trains and you will be guided through a step by step process to sign up for an individual or family in need of meals delivered to their home (or send them delivery or a gift card if you’d prefer).
This is a ministry of Refuge, but as Christians we never discourage doing individual kindness, generosity, or giving to others in need.
If you are a member of our body and have a temporary need for meals then we would love to hear from you! These needs include but are not limited to:
- Welcoming a new baby
- Sickness or recovery
- Unforeseen circumstance(s)
On Thursday, August 16 the Coopers will be driving to Stanford so Will can undergo two heart surgeries. They will be staying there for at least one week while Will recovers in the hospital and return home shortly after. Let's come together and bring them some nourishing, delicious meals while Will continues his recovery at home and Mallorie continues to care for him and their kids.
After successfully completing chemo, Holly finds herself at the next step in her battle against breast cancer. On August 2, Holly goes in for a double mastectomy followed by radiation. Her doctor has been very clear with her that recovery is a full SIX weeks, which includes no lifting at all. With four young children, you can imagine how hard of a task this will be. While she mends, we have the opportunity to bless and serve her & her family.
Matt & Emily have welcomed in their first baby. On July 4, 2018, their daughter Ellie entered the world. Now is our time to rally along side of them as they adjust to parenthood, and what better way than by providing meals for them during the first six weeks. Would you consider signing up for a date to bless them in this way?
