Refuge Kids is a remarkable place where God is captivating the minds and hearts of young kids. We love being a part of this extraordinary time in your kids lives. We want nothing more than to introduce your children to their powerful Creator and loving Savior with the end goal of them placing their faith in Him for their lives. To accomplish such a great task we trust the Holy Spirit and we desire to partner with you in what you are already doing every day with your kids. Currently we are making several changes.

Changes to our Building

We are in the process of remodeling our kids building to make for a better use of the space, which will include better security for the kids, better classroom environment for learning, and safer, more age appropriate rooms. We will be dividing the main room into into two classrooms and a nursery, with the nursery at the front to provide easy access for moms. We will also be stocking a bookshelf with resources to equip you for raising your kids.

Changes to our Teaching

We are trying to get away from the curriculums that have a tendency to focus on man and moralism instead of God and His great grace. So, we are beginning to use a new long term curriculum, Children’s Desiring God, which focuses on God’s great character. Along with the new curriculum we are developing better, more comprehensive and ongoing training for our teachers which will focus on their personal spiritual development, as well as developing them as teachers and as teaching teams for each age group.
