This is wonderful to see! We've been giving away free coffee in Cork for quite a while now, although the coffee isn't nearly as high quality as the stuff you give out! Here's a video we made about it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-5gHeyb5aQ&feature=related The video isn't as high quality as yours either, I'm afraid. But you know what? We're preaching the same gospel!
God bless you guys!

Hey Everyone,

Chie Burns wrote on her facebook that they are still waiting to talk to her family, but they are assuming that they are all ok. She asks for continued prayer, not only for their suffering and loss but for their souls to find their Hope in Jesus.

On Tim's facebook he suggests giving any contributions for relief to the JECA (Japanese Evangelical Church Association) who will put the money into the hands of local churches who can give care to the people who need it most without the added red tape. The Link is: https://www.send.org/donate/?contributable=389

I appreciate this synopsis. I like the point that living justly is not merely the extreme acts like feeding the hungry or helping the poor; justice encompasses the so-called small acts as well.
thanks Keith.

Reading those verses is refreshing as a believer, but I can't help but consider how skeptics think about verses like this. Jesus is offensively narrow, so the rebellious heart can come to truth with no intention of believing it, thinking something (even if subconsciously) like, "I will read this so I can say that I honestly tried it."

That said, I see how people can read the very scriptures you have listed above and yet still come away dry, unfed and bitter at these truths. Seems Jesus' self-image was exclusive and divine, yet the way he conveyed it was still not explicit enough to FORCE faith on whoever encountered him. Saying Jesus was spiritual and Paul was just a religious nut with an axe to grind is to be so selective and biased in your reading of the scriptures that you don't even give them a chance to speak for themselves. Sad. God help us.

So true! Excellent post. The whole Body of Christ needs to read this and meditate on it and LIVE it out. I believe we are weak in our Christian life because we have allowed an unforgiving heart to take residence in us. And we like it. We wallow in our justification of our sin and fail to see how it grieves the Holy Spirit. How much more could we be doing if we would rid ourselves of our wrong view of ourselves, others and the lord Jesus. What a mockery of the Cross it is when we say someone has sinned so much against us that we cannot forgive them. Have mercy on us Lord and do not leave us as we are but change us into the image of the One we love and serve.
